Sweet Olive Soap Works
Sweet Olive Soap Works was created out of New Orleans native Emily Mangers' intense desire to promote the healthier aspects of the region and the culture she loves. Her Grandma Anna Mae was a soap maker who owned her own business and dedicated countless summer afternoons to sharing her skills with little Emily. Continuing the family tradition of soap making is Emily's calling. She spent two decades experimenting with various soap recipes and inventing many of her own along the way.
Applying the basic techniques that her grandmother passed down, Emily handcrafts each batch of cold process soap from scratch, using gourmet recipes that have been formulated to naturally nourish and moisturize your skin.
Whenever possible, ingredients are locally-sourced. Sweet Olive Soap Works proudly works in partnership with environmentally responsible businesses and individuals throughout the state of Louisiana to create a truly home-grown bath & body experience.
